The cold weather did not stop Democrats from marching in the Lake Villa St. Patrick’s Day parade en masse! With the event led and organized by Kasia Kondracki of the Lake Villa Dems and Ester Hebbard of Indivisible Western Lake County, the lineup was filled with Democrats.
Candidates included Brad Schneider, Anthony Vega for Lake County Clerk, Re-Elect Sheriff John D. Idleburg, Erin Cartwright Weinstein for Appellate Judge, Laura Faver Dias for State Rep, Thomas Maillard for State Rep, Mary Edly-Allen for State Senate, Michael Leone for County Board, John Wasik for County Board and Holly Kim for Lake County Treasurer.
The Democrats’ lineup featured Bill Holland who carried the Ukrainian flag in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and in advancing democratic nations.
