Sailboat Racing

For more than 60 years, the Lake Bluff Yacht Club has been integral to sailboat racing. Hear about the evolution of the club’s history and fun stories of racing sailboats.
Wild Nights Out: Fireflies
6/24, 8:30–10 pm, Ryerson Conservation Area
Enjoy a special after-hours program and view fireflies at Ryerson Conservation Area in Riverwoods. Learn about firefly biology and how to make your yard firefly-friendly. Then sit back and enjoy the light show.
All ages. FREE. Adult supervision required. No registration required. Bring a chair or blanket.
Beer Garden Trivia Night

Beer Garden at Independence Grove
Grab a tasty brew with friends at the Beer Garden at Independence Grove in Libertyville and test your knowledge of Lake County’s past and present in a fun, educational trivia game. Your team will be quizzed on nature, history, the forest preserves and more.
