The destination brewery, Buffalo Creek Brewing, is gathering some of the area’s best burger cooks and restaurants for Lake County’s preeminent burger battle on September 1st from 1 pm to 4 pm. Taking place in the two-acre, picturesque biergarten, the annual Burger Throwdown was a smash hit in its inaugural year and plans to top it off with even more burger goodness in its sophomore return. For one ticket price, guests will receive a freshly made beer and vote on freshly made samples by participating burger contestants, including Guud Burger (People’s Choice Winner 2023), Indaba USA, Burger Alley, Rep’s Place, and Woodfire Tavern. Will a classic cheeseburger reign supreme, or will a new burger concept rise? The event also features live music by Goin’ Live Band on the main stage, outdoor games, and a new beer release, Cherry Rasp – the ideal full flavor amber to compliment a juicy burger.
